MEP Romana Jerkovic (S&D-HR)

MEP Romana Jerkovic is a Croatian politician and a Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences, and a professor. She is a member of the Special Committee on Beating Cancer and the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety.

She is also a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, Delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, and Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee

MEP Romana is passionate about social justice, sustainability, and equality as well as the regulations of industries and the environment. MEP Romana Jerkovic’s recent activities include the debate on the general union environmental action plan for 2030 and strengthening Europe in the fight against cancer.

She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2016.
